Kosovan banks attract EBRD funding

NLB Banka Prishtina has signed a €5 million ($5.49 million) credit facility with the EBRD to help Kosovan SMEs increase trade.

The Kosovan bank will lend the funds to exporters within the country. The deal is the first between the development bank and NLB Banka.

The EBRD also announced that another Kosovan bank, BPB, has joined its energy efficiency programme and will receive a €1 million credit line for onlending to SMEs.
